St. Mary's English Medium School budded out in the year 2008 with the K.G. Classes. It is a minority Institute of Education, managed by Mary salian Society of Raipur.

It is run by the religious congregation of Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate (SMMI) St. Mary's English Medium School takes its name from its Patroness "Mary Mother of Jesus " Education of the poor and illiterate was one of the visions of the founders of the society, a French Missionary, Sister Marie Gertrude who came to India in 1889.
